How long after my event will my video be complete?

Can I get a package on the event page for my wedding instead of the wedding package?

Q: How long after my event will my video be complete?

A: A typical wedding video should be complete in 6-8 weeks.  A concert video or other staged event is likely to be complete in 3-4 weeks.  Shorter videos may be ready in as little as one week.  If you have a specific deadline let us know and we will try to accomodate you.

Q: Can I get a package on the event page for my wedding instead of the wedding package?

A: Yes and no.  The event package covers a single staged event (basic), or an open floor type event (advanced), so if you only want your ceremony filmed than event basic will work.  However, if you need the ceremony and reception filmed than it's not really a single event anymore so the wedding package will make more sense (and cost less) than building coverage out of event packages.

Q: My corporate video should only take an hour to film.  Can I pay less than the 1/2 day rate?

A: No, with the preparation that is involved in a video shoot it is unlikely that we will be able to book another job for the same day.  This is also why the half day rate is more than half of the full day rate.

Q: My wedding is in a week.  Can I still book a wedding video?

A: Give us a call.  As long as we don't have any videos booked for that day than probably yes.

Q: Do you require a deposit?

A: Yes, we will hold your date for 2 weeks, but beyond that you will need a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit to hold the date.

Q: Do you shoot sporting events?

A: Generally, no.  Sports coverage is a unique genre in which we are not well versed.  Also, most sports require multiple cameras to achieve a professional video.  On the other hand some sports which can be filmed with two cameras would be martial arts or gymnastics competitions.
