Winter Wedding Special

Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and deserves to be captured in a high quality wedding film.  As your videographer we understand the importance of all of those little moments you want to remember forever as well as bringing you special moments you may have missed.  We will shoot your wedding from beginning to end with our state of the art HD cameras.  This footage will be creatively edited into a film which will capture all of the beauty, the drama and the fun of your special day.  The film will then be presented to you on DVD, Blu-ray or both depending on the package you choose.  In addition to the film which on average is from 60-90 minutes, the DVD will include a highlights video about 3-5 minutes long and a cinematic movie trailer.

What to expect (and when) from Pirates Lane Video.

• Expect us to arrive about 1 hr. prior to the ceremony, or earlier if shooting a bridal prep video.
• Expect us to be profesional in both appearance and demeanor.
• Expect us to be discrete and stay out of the way.
• Within 2 weeks of your wedding you can expect a sneak peak at your footage in the form of a high definition movie trailer for your wedding film, delivered online.  This is included in all wedding video packages even if you are not getting your video in HD.
• Within 6-8 weeks of your wedding (or from when we receive all needed information/materials from you) expect a beautifully finished DVD complete with menus and custom DVD case.

We have several wedding packages available which include the most common options for wedding videos.  Please see our pricing page for details.  All of our wedding video packages include 2 HD cameras to film ceremony, editing (typically 25-35 hrs), disc authoring with custom menus and at least 3 DVD's with custom printed cases.  While these packages are there to simplify things for you, please feel free to mix and match and create your own package and we will quote you a price.

You also have optional services you can add to your package including pre-ceremony bridal prep coverage, love story videos, rehearsal dinner coverage and slide shows.  If you can think of something you want in your video we can probably do it.

About the style of the video.

While we capture the beauty of your wedding day and are creative in our shot choices, the bulk of your wedding video will be documentary in style and cover the whole day chronologically.  The highlights video on the other hand will be somewhat more cinematic in style, focused on the visual and emotional high points of the day and will probably include some special effects.  At the far end of the spectrum the movie trailer is essentially for fun, is edited in a cinematic style and will likely have a number of (mostly subtle) special effects and dramatic music.
