HD Wedding Videography

All wedding films at Pirates Lane Video are captured with 1080p full HD cameras and shot at 24 frames per second to achieve the look and feel of a movie.  Now, with any of our new wedding videography packages you will get an HD Digital Copy or HD Blu-Ray disc of your wedding.  Adding a second videographer is now optional with all of our packages and is the most cost efficient way to upgrade the quality of your final film.  Having a second videographer means more dynamic coverage, more cinematic shots and a more beautiful finished film.

Our approach to filming your wedding is to be as discreet as possible, especially during the ceremony.  With an eye for composition, videographer Jim Merchant is constantly planning the next shot and anticipating those special fleeting moments that happen on your wedding day, so that they will be captured and treasured for many years to come.

All packages below include a 1080p Full HD digital copy (on USB flashdrive) or Blu-Ray disc as well as three copies on standard DVD's.  The packages have been simplified to offer the most requested options together and the most flexibility on your wedding day.  The hours of coverage will be the total time we are at your wedding including travel time if any between events (minus the time to set up at the ceremony), so you can use some of the coverage time to cover pre-wedding preparations or have the coverage start at the ceremony to extend coverage further into the evening.  All packages include coverage with at least 2 cameras (and as many as 4) for the ceremony depending on what will provide the best coverage.  Similarly the rest of the coverage may include a second (or possibly 3rd) camera for key moments depending on lighting and available camera angles.

Wedding Video Packages

This package is intended to provide you with the highest quality wedding video possible on a restricted budget.  If your ceremony and reception are in the same location (or close together), the 3 hrs. of coverage will usually be enough to cover the full ceremony, highlights of your photo shoot and coctail hr. and the first hour of the reception including introductions, first dance and toasts.  The finished film will be an approximately 1 hr. long documentary style film of the most exciting and special moments of your day, all captured in beautiful high definition.

Add a second videographer for $150.

The Gold package represents the most popular features and options.  The six hours of coverage can begin with your pre-wedding preparations and continue on through the most important moments of your reception, or start with the ceremony and continue up until the end of the evening.  It's all up to you.  Either way, you will get a fully edited wedding film over an hour long, all in HD with all of the moments that are most special to you.  Your film will include cinematic moments set to music and truly capture the heart and the beauty of your special day.  You will also get a sneak preview in the form of a dramatic movie trailer posted online to share with your family and friends everywhere.

The Platinum Package adds the Highlights Video which is a short film set to music of your choice which highlights the key moments of your day.  It's the perfect length to show to friends and family instead of the full Hollywood length movie version of your wedding.  You also get the movie trailer and full length film, all included on your DVD with custom menus and chapter points.  This package includes enough coverage for most weddings to include pre-wedding preparations right through the end of the reception.  For the ultimate cinematic wedding film add a second videographer.
